I really have to comment. Sinead is voicing common sense and decency. I'm 45, male and find myself crying here as I listen.......I can't believe how angry this makes me feel and I have no 'history' myself having had a normal childhood. I can't begin to imagine the trauma some people are going through..... I will have to turn my anger/sadness/shock into action. I have children - and come from a religiously conservative family. If we ever needed it, we have it clearly now - The Catholic Church is self protecting organisation that has NOTHING to do with GOD's message on earth. I will ensure my children understand how they can believe in God without being 'doormats' for a power hungry anti-Christian church. Isn't that ironic!! Thanks newstalk for airing views that resulted in my 1st ever comment to a radio station..... Oh boy I need to get some air ......

"What would Jesus do?" must have been what Sinead was asking herself when I said hello as she walked past me in The Glade in Glastonbury in 2008. Well apparently Jesus would completely ignore you and the friend following would give you daggers as they walked by. I suppose I shouldn't have expected nothing else at a pagan festival.

Hi, I heard you having an interwiew with a guest a week or more ago about a book in relation to The World War. I remember you saying you thought it was good and you could talk about the World War all day but I cannot remember the name of the book. I would be gratefull if you could e-mail me the name of the book you were talking about. Thanks so much. Conor

Neil should write down in his diary every time he walks his dog and the time. If he is in any doubt later on as to whether he walked the dog or not, he just checks his diary. Kev
